I am booking 4 days to have some fun with some M3 buddies this year. All at Castle Combe.

Anyone here interested in coming post your interest here...I am capping attendence at 35 cars max. We will have some instructors on hand to help with techniques etc.

Dates

Friday 18th march
Weds 11 May weds
July fri 22nd
Aug fri 26th

There will be a nominal charge to cover hire costs etc, but this is not a commercial venture, more an attempt to get enthusiasts on track, especially first timers.

Let me know.

Quite possibly - about bleedin' time the unpopped cherry of one's R400 was rolled out for some exercise.

I'll have to see if Jeremy C's available; he's the only geezer wot I know capable of slimline chauffeuring the way God intended.

Also, I quite like the sight - and indeed sound - of the Gixoidal Munchen Brawler; perhaps a lap or two with gentle expletives might be a damn fine proposition?

Btw, Gixor - any sign of your 'other track car' yet, you maniac?

Just had the cage fitted and is in for paint as we speak. Fitted Schrick cams to Evo head and mounted onto 3.0GT block and should see 360bhp.. Should be ready in time for the first Combe trackday. It will have a passenger seat fitted for the day...

The CSL will slao be there for some fastish lappery (1.18's two up) for anyone up for it.

And that was before the new front alloys, new suspension, camber changes and the APs a bit worse for wear.....

More to come Big G?

Whooops, my IE suddenly had 93 open windows, so I switched the PC off. Any mods delete two (rather than 3) of the above posts please?

Cheers!

Count me in on at least one day at Combe.

I can probably put together a group of at least 6, can you email the cost per person.

Also if you are looking for instructors, I can put myself forward. Ive done the odd lap around the old place

Noise limit is 100db static at 45 degrees and 1m and 4,500rpm.

I will post up the payment options when the price is finalised. I expect it to be no more than £100 per car.

Really up for this date at Combe, as it'll be my first trackday in the bimmer.

Still worried about the noise level it's chucking out, so will have to get this measured and if needed- extra silencing.

Cheers,

J
