I got my kick plates at the weekend, don’t hold your breath, they are not great.
Only about 14” long but they do have the Tamora name etched on then in the normal TVR style.
They look better than nothing but I was hoping they would be a bit longer and cover the entire sill and not just about a third of it.

Anyway that’s not the weird bit. The weird bit is that one is wider than the other. At first I thought it was a manufacturing error. But on closer in section the passengers side sill is 10mm wider than the driver’s side sill. Now I don’t know too much about car design but should it not be symmetrical. I mentioned this to the dealer and they were as surprised as me about this.

Could this have something to do with the A pillar problem on the drivers side we are all experiencing I wonder?

Any thoughts ?

Cheers,
Guys.

PS. One of the kick plates was damaged when I got it so it’s going back to the dealer anyway !!!!

I've discovered another asymmetry in my Tamora so this doesnt surprise me! Not only are the A-pillars different but also the seat position (my drivers seat touches the door, the pass seat is a good inch away).

That would explain the A-pillar

Can see myself going round mine with a tape measure tonight - probably find all the wheels are different sizes
