How can 15 quid be expensive? It has taken someone time and expense to source the wires, LEDs etc and to build it. You get a fully functional piece of kit that slots straight into place, first time, no hassle.
I do think sometimes owners are tight fisted with these cars; as long as the attitude prevails that these are cheap, bodge-it-together cars, we can never expect to be anything other than the butt of jokes in the sports car orld.

Strong words Nick but true, even the more expensive marques are not entirely bodge free. I read an article in Classic Car Mart this weekend about the DB7. Hadn't appreciated how much of it came out of a Ford; switchgear etc. Rear lights are upside down Mazda's. Who would ever have thought of taking another cars rear light cluster and turning it upside down?
I would have been a bit miffed had I bought a DB7 new, only to find the price of a small house buys you upside down lights!

I presume your little rant was aimed at me? If you'd read my post you'll see I said its a fair price. Did you get some sand in your vagina whilst defending the honour of TVR in the sports car world you live in?
