I stupidly tried to open my window this mornign whilst driving along on this cold, frosty morning. Of course the window stayed where it was and the handle went round after a rather loud 'cracking' sound. (I had, for the record, fully defrosted my car. Or so I thought.)
Consequently the window glass has jumped free of its runner, the window mechanism is still working fine. Is it easy to replace the glass into the runner or are there any special tools or parts that I need to obtain for this?
Cheers,
Richard.

Saved me the job Pack Man! I must have posted that link a few times recently. It's a right b'gger to do I can tell you but that's a very good guide. OK if you've got a garage but not if you're trying to do it on a rainy day using a garage door for cover

Thanks chaps, I've just had a look at the window glass, and yes there are the remnants of three plastic carrier clips there. So that's my weekend booked up!

Well I fixed the window at the weekend. Christ that was a PITA. Seem to have a bolt left over (as always.) But all works okay! Thanks for your input chaps.

Spray rubber and nylon lubricant down the two runners and it wont happen again.
