how do you update ford sync

trying to update ford sync on fiesta on UK ford site - get redirected to Ford USA then put VIN in and says I need a USA car to carry on.

Have tweeted Ford UK - no response as yet

just spoke to Ford - their website is incorrect. You have to take it to Ford dealer. But will soon be able to do it yourself via PC/usb stick.

They've been saying that since Sync came out about 3 or 4 years ago unless the latest version in the new Focus is different. Otherwise it's a trip to the dealers...
