Hi spec rear brakes fitting kit need info on brake fittings

Hi spec rear brake kit hmm someone needs to to do more homework on rear bracket, here is what if found


It only fits chimaera with non vented discs
To fit it to a 500 you need the 400 rear caliper brackets
I'd had to fit some new 400 brackets
Then had to machine the hi spec bracket as it wasn't right
The new rear discs touch the caliper at the bottom so this has had to be filled
The braked stainless hose need to be changed as they have a straight connection not a banjo

Anyone know what the fitting at the frame end is on the braked hose ? at the part where it threads through the chassis and connects to the copper pipe ?

In my experience with Hi-spec providing you provide them with all required information and measurements they will produce exactly what is required to fit your car. I would never just resort to clicking away on an internet shop system and assume fitment will be ok, just pick up the phone and talk to someone who understands what you're after. My application was quite unique but by having a chat and providing several measurements Hi-spec produced a drawing I could check before ordering and provided exactly what I needed. Excellent service all round.

The front kit was spot on, sent them the front wheel and everything was good. The rears they couldn't help me even after talking with them, the rear kit was the same supplied as on the Orange supercharged chin. They don't offer one for a 500
