Hi http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-S-CL-CLASS-W220...

Sure i've seen recons for £500 to £600, personally I would go to an independent rather than a main dealer. Depends how old the car is.

Official Asra (Mercedes)time is 4.6hrs to replace tandem pump.
It involves draining, refilling low pressure cooling circuit, removing fan shroud, installing protection guard for condenser radiator, removing/refitting various ABC pressure lines to tandem pump, air filter housing, alternator belt, pulleys, tensioner etc. Its not a job for the faint hearted & will take someone a good 5hrs or longer to do unless they have previous experience of doing one. The system will have to be properly bled afterwards especially the pressure cooling circuit.
