Depends. If the Porsche marketing blurb is to be believed then the GT4 is already less usable on the street than the 991 GT3. Is it also considered less usable than the GT3 RS? If it is then a GT4 RS will likely be a pure track car and starts competing with other track only offerings. Hopefully the reviews next week will shed a bit more light on how extreme and capable it is.

I'd hope people do care. I know there was a LOT of disappointment on release of the GT4 but not all OPCs treated customers like crap. Find a good one, get your LOI in and you should be fine. No GT3RS is meant to be a lot more extreme than the GT3. If the GT4 is already very firm, then perhaps more power and less weight would be the way forward? Target 7:30 'ring time and bob's your uncle!Will have to wait and see how the GT4 works as a daily driver.

I know they said this about the GT4 but "Euro 7" is coming sooner than expected and Porsche won't be able to sell N/A cars without some sort of hybrid system at that point, unless they find some loophole that allows them to sell racing cars that can be made street legal by customers.

Fair enough! I'd thought that any GT4 buyers would be shoo-ins for an RS version but clearly I'm wrong.
