Odyssey Batteries on offer

Just a heads up in case anyone has been considering replacing their Chim battery with an Odyssey: This company has them on offer: http://www.jjcraceandrally.com/race/batteries/odys...

I have no link with the business and can't even remember if I bought my battery from them but its been on five years and no issues.
Being the acid absorbed glass mat type its smaller, lighter and great if you want to relocate the battery to the boot or behind the seat.

I fitted a PC925 but others suggest a larger battery may be beneficial.

I fitted a slim Odyssey last November I think it's the 950, although I had to relocate it slightly to the very front of the passenger footwell with a power vamp ally bracket it has performed perfectly so far and released an extra 3"+ of legroom.

Works a treat ,the weird thing is i`m not suffering with battery drain .

They're part of Demon Tweeks I think as they're based in Wrexham. Just looked - prices are reduced on both sites
eta both show reduced prices, but some are cheaper on JJC and some cheaper on DT. Odd.

I recently fitted a PC925 after advice on Pistonheads and have found that it works fine. It frees up 2" of extra legroom and allows the ECU to fit between battery and bulkhead. Access to fusebox is now excellent and there is room left to store the birdsnest of wiring and relays out of the way.

Not a weird thing at all, it's one of the advantages of the design.
