I just acquired a second-hand Paralight/Trackaphone Fuse 22 remote kit for my DB9, but I have no instructions. Any advice on installing it? For example, is there a right/wrong way round to install the replacement blade into the fuse box? Are any modifications required to the lid of the fuse box (I assume it won't close properly unless I do)? Exactly which is Fuse 22 (I can't read the numbers on the box)? Sorry if all this is "old news", as I noticed there are many old threads on this topic...

its as straightforward as it looks. The earth lead just goes on a nearby nut and the fuse wire across where the fuse would go. The box just tuck away near or bit of velcro/double sided tape if worried about it moving

Im not near my car, but can take a pic if you get stuck ...you could email James at trackaphone and he might have some pdf instructions

Thank you, a photo would be great, hoping to do it this weekend and want to be sure I remove the correct fuse. Have you had to modify the fuse box lid?

The hand book details which is the correct fuse. The lid is a tight fit, so best to cut out a bit of the edge of the fuse box to run the wire through.

Thanks for the advice - now fitted. I don't notice any difference when the car is idling - should I? I can hear the switch working on the box, but the exhaust note doesn't change

yes, should be noticeable if you have a window open. Certainly if you pick up the revs to 2000 and press the remote button on then off you should hear it change and prove the switch is working
