3000s access cover above diff
Discussion
i have not looked very closely at the trim panel above diff but i would like to know the correct way to remove it.
I imagine this will expose the access cover above the diff which i can then remove to have a look.
This way i can give things a good clean and carry out an inspection.
Many thanks if someone can give me some tips
Alan

Hi Alan,
The cover itself is sometimes bolted throu the flat GRP over the diff/drive-shaft, and the bolts/nuts can be reached throu the rear wheelarches (you may find there is none there/already removed, as the cover has nowhere to go by means of the seat-reels)
The inspection cover proper is held in place by some parkers and dumdum or closed cell to moisture isolate the interior
Hope this helps
