Please can anyone help me on finding / sourcing the tiny clear balls that are glued in the center console in the pre cat early griffith that emit the light from the finer optical cable ??
TIA

Thanks Andy but I have found some 10mm acrylic balls that I hope will fit , but had to buy 30 off !!

so if anyone is thinking of doing the centre console of a pre cat griff I have what you need ( that's if you got no balls) lol

I'll have to take mine out and have another look......... last time I had it out years ago, I thaught all the balls were the same colour, and the light colour came from the coloured Perspex........

TBH it's a crap design, as you can't see the colours in daylight anyway.... well without squinting, block out the sun, and maybe the use of an electron microscope

Yes mate they are acrylic clear to you and me wink the idea of them is to widen the light , I have found some led bulb that emits more light than the original bulb ( the reason the old bulb goes is it gets too hot in the silly capsule it is engulfed in !!) the led's are much brighter and do not get hot so this is a great upgrade to keep it original looking ?

Do the led bulbs fit straight in, or does the bulb holder need modification ?

spec of bulb would be handy smile

Hoover the beads are 10mm acrylic and you can see the difference from the original !23 years they are bound to fade ?

how to remove your balls rolleyes a small blade to hols the ball and gently drill it half way through and they will come out then pop the new ones in Simples
