Hi any one got any advice please , car is an 59 plate ve Maloo , I just want to take a bit of the distant handling feeling of the car , I'm not looking for full suspension package as can be too firm , is it shocks or springs that need changing ? Plus I don't really want to lower the car , any advice please , and thanks in advance

How about just getting the geometry tweaked? You'll be surprised how that can change the characteristics with the standard components.

Hi Ian , is that all you have done to yours or have you changed any thing else ?

We haven't even done that yet, to the truck. On the VXR8 we had better quality shocks fitted, but kept the standard springs, and also got Monkfish to fit an uprated anti-roll bar at the front.

However, although I know we all like throwing money at shiny things, with cars in the past I have often found that a fast road geometry setting will take away the vague feeling at the front, and make it feel a lot more planted. The downside is that it can sometimes make the car oversteer a little.

I'm not sure of the current cost, but a quick call to the usual suspects will give you an idea of whether you want to do this, or spend on bling. wink
