Morning all,
I have been trying to upload a few pics of my car and even taking them on a basic setting they are still coming out at around 3.7mb. Please can anybody tell me how to reduce them down to the required 2mb to upload them on PH, or is this not possible?
Many thanks and please excuse my ignorance, I just point and shoot!

Just use an image resizing program. I use one called Irfanview that allows me to open the image and then resize and save again.

Or sign up to flickr. Upload at any res to there and share automatically-resized versions to any forum.

I have a flickr account but it was causing me all sort of problems trying to upload pictures, at least this seems to work!

Trust me - 2Mb is the maximum size - however realistically you should be posting them when they're 2-300Kb in size. 800 pix wide.
