Earlier this week someone linked to the advert for this car :

I showed the image (saved to my phone) to a mate who's expressed interest in said car. Accordingly I said I'd send him a link to it. Now despite having spent the last hour trawling PH, the interweb and Google, I can't find the vendor of the car
If anyone recognizes the car (a '73 2.7 RS rep based on a 3.2 Carrera with a 3.5 litre engine running on PMO's and fitted with a BS Motorsport switchable exhaust) please could you either link to the vendor's website or
post the name of the company.
Many thanks in advance.

Slippy, the only car I can find is the one shown as sold http://www.classiccarshop.co.uk/home/sold-vehicles... maybe the garage name rings a bell?
Evening Al, thank you for that. I suspect that's the car, (as the start of the advert appears to use the same wording as the advert I perused earlier in the week) but it's on sale with a different vendor currently, so perhaps The School Garage traded it out.
The images on the current website were nicely shot as per the above

You're welcome Slippy. I've done a bit more digging and have come up with a better ad for the School Garage car http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/cars-for-sale/de...
It's the same wording but the car has a different reg to that in your original post. I'll keep digging

Morning Al, thanks for the second link. By chance I found the car this morning, I realise now the car itself wasn't linked to, it was the Guards Red Mk2 996 GT3 that was linked to It's the same wording but the car has a different reg to that in your original post. I'll keep digging

A stunning car, and I'd wager quick too !
Once again, many thanks for taking the time to look for the lost link

and whilst looking at that car and the vendor's other stock, I noticed the 2.7 RS rep :

So the ad says "best 1973 911 RS lightweight recreation to date". I don't think so. 3.5L high compression on PMO carbs with MSD ignition and twin spark. In what way is that a 2.7RS replica motor? Might be a fantastic hot rod, but 2.7RS rep it is not.

Sitting down ? (you'll need to be .....)
The vendors say the owner is looking for .......
£70k ? Nope.
£90k ? Nope.
Surely not £100k you're thinking ? Well no actually.
Try £150k .......

I may be wrong , but I think I enquired about this car nearly a year ago and I'm sure they wanted somewhere between £K 80/90 - can't remember exactly - but I would have remembered if they wanted £K 150 !! The vendors say the owner is looking for .......
