Anyone know of a source for the right clips to fit these please? Have just installed a set on a Chimaera but the oem clips are not right for the slightly bigger barrel size. Think the style is known as 'OBD1 Bosch EV1 centre notch' but googling that and variations of it does not bring anything up.

As long as the injector is securely sandwiched between rail and intake manifold, I wouldnt worry too much about the clips.

Only if rail mountings are weak or there is a lot of slop that might actually allow the injector to move out far enough to leak, would I be worried

or searching egay, there seem to be a few places selling clips. Clips may be more rail specific than injector specific.

The clips are not to hold the injector into the rail, but to correctly orient the injector (around it's axial center line)!! (obviously, depending on the spray pattern of your particular engine, this may or may not be important......)

They have a role to play in centring the injector length wise to prevent the body of the injector from bottoming in the injector nacelle so that at it is properly suspended and isolated by the O rings.

Thanks, it is to keep the heights right although they are very snug in rail and manifold so I doubt they'd walk. I did see that Ebay listing Stevie but without knowing the form for the 'right' ones, it's difficult to know which would be the option to go for...
