I'm flying out of Bournemouth on Thursday, back on Sunday. Does anyone know someone who might refub alloys near there whilst I'm away?

Also Silver Wheels in the same area (10 mins drive from the airport). Left a set with them on Friday and picking up tomorrow, so will know if they're any good (positive reports elsewhere on PH).

Wheel specialist fern down gets my vote too. Dropped our mini off and ready next day. Super job too

Either of those companies. The process is slightly different, TWS using all powdercoat, whereas Silver use a wet paint for the colour.

+/- of them both. Use TWS if you're happy with the colours they offer. Use Silver if you want something matched, as they can tint their colours.

Silver is cheaper than TWS. Both have sameday turnaround.

Likely to have that issue with most places I'd think - if your flights late in the day, there are plenty of hotels close by?

TWS aren't cheap, Silver aren't much less though.

Marcus at Silver wheels will be around the £220 to £240 + VAT mark. I have used him many times and sent lots of my customers there, he also powder coats.

Really?

As I live in Bournemouth and am thinking about changing the colour of my wheels, I have found this thread to be very useful. No doubt the OP has too, and possibly both companies recommended.

I see what Andy is saying, feels like a weekly thing on here people asking for wheel refurb companies, and in this area it's always Tws or silver wheels that gets recommended.
Maybe people could use the search function more or we could have wiki page in this subsection for recommended companies.

To be fair, I think my request was a little different from the norm which is why I asked. I can google wheel refub on my own thanks.

Sorry, it wasn't a dig at the op or people starting new threads. It's just been really quiet on here lately, hopefully summer will bring lots of new content and more meets etc.

Btw I would also recommend TWS.

I agree!

I also recommend The Wheel Specialist in Ferndown, they did my Z4 and have done a few sets for Andy
