Which movie to see
Discussion
I fancy going to the cinema this weekend and have just had a look at what's showing (see following). Nothing particularly grabs me, but does anyone have any feedback regarding any of the following movies?
Closer
Million Dollar Baby
Team America
Vanity Fair
The Aviator
White Noise
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Alexander
National Treasure
House of Flying Daggers
Polar Express
The Phantom Of The Opera
Napoleon Dynamite

Hi, Srebbe. If you click on my profile and then "Best Films of 2004" you'll get a pararaph on each and my recommendation. It depends on whether you feel in the mood for great melodrama, great images, or great action sequences: Million/Dagger/Avaitor in that order. LA
Cheers, I'll do that!

Team America only one worth seeing on the list.
And let this be a warning to all -
DO NOT SEE NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE
WORST MOVIE EVER...EVER
Brian,
I rather liked the movie. It is an 'Ode' to US Geek-dom. Nothing more, nothing less.
Dave
Geek, ok?
dude, no offense, but that kid wasnt a geek, he was a
in moron trying to hard to be a retarded funny kid. I suppose he is a good role model for kids to live up to.BrianTheYank said:

Nope. "Reducing Downtime To DNV". DNV stands for Diarrhea, Nausea, and Vomiting.
Since there was no medical doctor (or healthcare worker) involved, there was no one who could legally give specific advice on how to reduce illness. The film was primarily about convincing employees to work when ill. It contains the following exchange, which is probably the worst dialogue ever filmed.
Employee: Boss, I can't come in today.
Boss: Suck it up and get to work, you pansy.
Employee: I'm sick.
Boss: Your shift starts in twenty minutes.
Employee: Boss, I'm throwing up and I've got the s**ts.
Boss: So what? There's a toilet here, right?
But having said that, Napoleon Dynamite is one to stay away from. Well away from.
National Treasure - Nicholas Cage is Nicholas Cage in a Nicholas Cage film.
He's got as many characters to his act as Vin Diesel
Go and see Million Dollar Baby or if you enjoy films like a combination of Sleepy Hollow and Ace Ventura, then see Lemony Snickets.
