Blank BMX bike question.

Hi guys, My thirteen year old lad is looking to get a new BMX. He has decided on one from the Blank bike range. The two he has to choose from is the 'Media' which is a mid range bike, which has Hi-tensile frame, or the 'Diablo' which sits towards to top of the range, Which as Cromoly frame.
Now local bike shop has the 'Media' but the 'Diablo' needs to be ordered in. What I don't want to happen Is that he has the one that's available and then finds its not as good as the ' Diablo' .
So, just wondered if anyone had got any experience of the above bikes??

Pretty much everything on the diablo is better, though not to say the cheaper one isn't entirely capable too, complete bikes come with amazing specs for the money now.

Chromo is both stronger AND lighter than Hi Ten Steel, even if the bits were the same it would ride better and (looked after) will last longer.
