Have I been lucky??
Discussion
Aston Martin Dealer local to me returned my P&J the other day after service. Had a good conversation with the truck driver about Aston etc etc. Explained to him after 3 years of ownership of my 2006 V8V I've never had any trouble or even any warning signs on the Dash. He said My car must be one of the lucky ones?? Don't know what to make of that comment. What's the general views on V8V problems as these cars get on a bit
I'm at 45k miles on original clutch and she still feels and looks new. My only expense in 3 years of ownership is servicing and brake pads. Tyres will be due soon. Had a 3 year old jag before that cost £5k in repairs out with servicing etc

I think hes just guessing...the majority are lucky and its an unlucky minority
im on original clutch on my 06 car at 70K miles ...and have "only" had hundreds of pounds of non routine maintenance (rather than thousands)
saying that im due another wheel bearing at next months service....
