Didn't see this one coming !
Big claims in the introductions. It will be interesting to see what they reveal in September

Not entirely sure why they wheeled out Sir Stirling though.

Indeed... A long way from being the most obvious brand for resuscitation - but it seems to be personal, rather than just a choice or what's available.http://www.borgward.com/en
Be very interesting to see what happens. If anything ever does.

Ah - He raced a Cooper-Borgward back in 1960 or thereabouts. No idea they were involved in racing.
As well as the Isabella being competitive in saloon car racing (Bill Blydenstein in the UK) they built top class 1500cc sports-racers, and the same engine was supplied for F2 racing. Borgward sent over their own engineer to oversee engine maintenance and tuning, much to the disgust of Moss' personal mechanic, the legendary Alf Francis.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
