Stolen vehicle found after 2 years
Discussion
Reassure me I shouldn't be doing anything else!
Car was stolen Dec 2012. Sent off keys, documentation, etc to insurers at the time. Insurance company settled claim by end of Jan 2013.
I've had some letters and emails from the local police (at the time) saying that the vehicle has been found. I told them I'd forward details to the insurer, and did. A month on, I'm still getting the police contacting me about it, presumably wanting to arrange recovery.
The car belongs to the insurers now, right? I don't have any responsibility here beyond passing on details to them to get their car back?

It's owned by the insurer - pass their details to the police.
