Im having a look at a cerb tomorrow, a yellow 4.5 98 with 18k miles (oh big mystery where Im going! )

No one knows its history, its a dealer car so comes with a warranty... what is there for me to check, investigate etc, or should I just go for it if I like it, IF I can wangle a deal on my S which is for sale?

cerbs are bought with the heart but sounds like you might get carried away. get it inspected? what about JAmes Aggers cars?

Is it necessary/best to ask the likes of agger to inspect a dealer car, when you are getting a warranty?

James Agger doesn't do inspections to the best of my knowledge, but he has
cornered the market in mid ground private vs dealer sales and in my opinion,
is the best way forward. Give him a call either way.

Rob Ingleby among others will do inspections for you, but I'd speak to the
dealer first as a 'known' TVR Dealership might be a little put out at an Indie
coming in when they have done their checks prior to sale.

Its a dealer car. Its not 100% certain that I will buy, I hope to, but have decided not to opt for an inspection. Given that it comes with a 12 month warranty, Im not necessarily doing the wrong thing, am I?
