Demand for new gt3s etc ... was it always this high?
Discussion
Supply and demand controls the pricing and currently there is more demand than supply. As prices continue to rise the point will be reached when supply will be greater than demand. This will then inevitably result in prices dropping. Many owners will decide at that point to cash in before prices drop further resulting in even more cars becoming available. This is when the market will readjust to more sensible and realistic values pre 18mths ago. Porsche currently have a marketing strategy to limit numbers. If the requirement to put additional profit on the bottom line occurs they will increase the production numbers resulting in prices dropping. let's hope this doesn't happen as customers looking to make a quick buck will be in big trouble. Buy the car for what it is a fantastic performance car....and not an investment....drive it and enjoy it and if it does go up in value treat that as a bonus!
