I wasn't sure if we already had a dedicated thread to the DBX so here goes. A few shots from yesterday at Geneva:

I know that many will find this sacrilegious but I think that it looks great. When (not if!) they make it, they will sell them by the bucket load. I can't imagine that it will be fully electric though. Probably a hybrid of some sort. Those size of wheels/tyres (ie the drag) and the size of the thing wouldn't be conducive to decent ranges if it was electric only.

I understand that they need to think out of the box, but NO NO NO! If they must go into this sort of market, do it with Lagonda (my apologies to Lagonda). Leave Aston Martin to making sports/GT cars or very sporting saloons like the Rapide (which would have been a great Lagonda). Do that very, very well. They have the perfect opportunity to "expand" into other types of vehicle with Lagonda.I don't particularly like it. It looks too much like an existing Aston Martin design with a modified ride height (maybe that's what it is?). So it just looks wrong (a bit like a Porsche Panamera always looks like a 911 that's gone awry)
I'd rather they started with a clean sheet of paper and produced a fresh design - and built something that looked a little more like it was meant to be an SUV not a car gone wrong.
