Ive read many times that cerbs get hot, its best to have aircon etc.

Just how much hotter do they get than chims? (I assume a chim will get about as hot as V8S's?)

Depends on wheter you sit in the Chim all day with the roof on.........

TBH you're unlikely to find a Cerb without air-con, but even with it, you'll put your windows down on hotter days..... (or is that just to hear the exhaust better?!)

I have heard that on the Speed 6 they can get so hot as to melt the cats.

Glassfibre is a heat conductor and a half - doesnt help whatsoever... my cerb used to get real hot in the cabin on warm-hot days - and the aircon does diddly squat... opening the window only helps when moving.... Chims and Griffs and Tuscan 2 convertibles is the way to go...
But now with a TVR bike coming along - we could see many TVR owners getting thier rider licenses and picking one up - cheaper than a car surely....
