I had a Kleemann system fitted & yes it is louder under hard acceleration & when driving normally it's a much deeper note than standard but not overly so, I'd recommend getting it mapped as well it makes a notable difference.

I really want to do this but, it involves cutting off the section of piping that it replaces. That's not such an issue however, I just wonder whether if I made an engine related warranty claim, it would be chucked out due to the mod or, when the car goes back it would be rejected as it had been modified regardless whether or not the original pipe had been refitted.

I am told by MBFin that I can do what I like with it but, if I don't want to buy it at the end of the term it just ho back as I took delivery of it; I'm just unsure whether they'd quibble over a coupe of exhaust sleeve clamps joining two pieces of pipe where it was originally one whole piece.

Hope this might be of some use: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I had the Miltek system fitted and it's perfection. Several thousand miles on and I still feel that way. Noise when you want it, very little when you don't.

Put my old pipes on when returned car they were poorly welded bought from cks
All dealer did was ask me to replace with the original, they stuck out slightly afterwards but no one cared
