Need a new rear wheel - DiY??

My 6 year old Cube Attention HT is in need of a new back wheel, the existing one has lost a couple of spokes and its looking pretty buckled now.

The easiest option would be to just take it to the LBS I use and have them put something together but I want to try and do as much maintenance as I can and this looks like a good opportunity to get my hands dirty!

However having looked around I'm confused! Wheels not an issue as such but then I think it's best to stick a new cassette on there whilst I'm doing it, but which cassette, does it matter? Then there's also what hubs/bearings do I need?? Quick release??? Disc mounting points etc etc.

Budget wise I'm not after the lightest, fastest wheel around. The current wheel is an AlexRims Disc ZX24 (26") and I estimate that its served me well for around 2500 miles over 6 years. So something along the same lines price wise if anyone could suggest everything I would need to build the wheel up that would be great. Riding wise I tend to stay local, few bumpy/rocky descents but nothing too extreme, but I don't just potter up and down the canals so it would need to take some stick

Repair it? Spokes are cheap and trueing is a nice thing to learn. & replace cassette and chain together. both 8-speed or whatever they are, brands work with each other, look for a chain with a quick link included and shorten it to the length of the old one.

I've just bought a set of these for my new build ..impressed so far and tubeless ready,for the price can't get much better and lifetime free truing with them

Just trying to work out though as they only have Pink or White (front)/Black (rear) left..... is this the hub colour as pink will look ridiculous on my bike but I wouldn't mind if the front and back were different colours as long as they were white/black which seems to be the only other option available.

Yeah Maty it's the hub colour mine are green ...the rims are black with some white lettering that says sentinal ...I've just got mine running tubeless now bought the tubeless rim tape they sell and the valves,already had some stans sealant.
