Home grown Singer'esk Cayman or Boxster
Discussion
I recently downloaded a load of High Res images of Singer 911's and the WANT is strong, however, seeing as the price of early 911's has gone utterly mental making them out of reach of mere mortals I started wondering what might be possible with an early Cayman or Boxster.
Looking on Autotrader there are plenty of Caymans in the <£15K bracket which could make an ideal base for a really nice car, yes you could invest a lot of money in engine and suspension components but you could end up with a pretty awesome Resto GT4 type car.......Anyone good with photoshop!!!!

Its hard to picture a worthwhile project really. You want a retro 70's style 987 made to a very high standard? I cant see the logic.Looking on Autotrader there are plenty of Caymans in the <£15K bracket which could make an ideal base for a really nice car, yes you could invest a lot of money in engine and suspension components but you could end up with a pretty awesome Resto GT4 type car.......Anyone good with photoshop!!!!
Just buy an R or a Spyder?
Still, there are no rules, if you want to make it, go for it!

I cant remember where i saw the link but someone has stuck a Karmann Ghia body on a Boxster - i thought it looked nice though others may disagree
