Further to my thread on which car to go for, I'm leaning more towards the 45 class cars. With that in mind, I'm thinking of getting some wheels for track duty and want to know what people think? I'd like to know the best size for economy and availability of track rubber (A048, 888 or Federals), also best for handling. I've nearly always used Volk TE37s on my cars but can't find any in merc fitment 5x112x66.6 et 48.

I'm thinking 19 or 18s and ideally wide enough to take some wider rubber than 235, which has me thinking about a different et to bring the rims out a bit...

Any thoughts smile

Be wary about wider rubber and / or staggering widths on the 45's. 4matic apparently does not like change according to some who have changed.

Never had an issue on my old Mk4 r32 with the haldex...assuming it's the same? 18s or 19s for track and what et and width could I get away with.
