Hi all

Just in the process of building a new garage block with games room and gym (thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... and I need to buy some sound systems.

Set up needs to be:

Gym - TV with in ceiling/wall surround sound that allows bluetooth music from a smartphone too.
Games room - TV with in ceiling/wall surround sound that allows bluetooth music from a smartphone too.
Garage - In ceiling/wall surround sound that allows bluetooth music from a smartphone.

The games room and gym will run off a shared SKY HD Box.

I have no idea whatsoever about audio equipment and be extremely grateful for any recommendations for the sound system aspects of the above please.

Up to £1000 per room for the speaker system/amp although I don't feel the need to spend that much if there's no need. TVs, SKY Box etc taken care of separately. I'm not obsessive about sound quality, just want a decent system that sounds good and doesn't rattle.

Cheers

Rich

Hey Rich.

Can I just clarify, you ask for surround sound in all the rooms, which traditionally means movie/cinema esque sound.

Is that what you are looking for in these rooms or are you thinking of a good, all round coverage for sound.

As for sharing sky, do you want this in HD in all rooms, just one or a mix, there are several ways of doing it depending on you required end result.

Hope that helps, can give more when you are able to reply.

Thanks for the reply. Good point, I meant good all round sound rather than surround sound.

As for the sky box I want one box that can feed a TV in the games room and the one in the gym.
