Late 30s Daimler, maybe 1939. Could be a special coachbuilt body.

Note, numberplate which tells the time. You never see them these days.

Ah, BSA Scout, well done.

I've seen a similar front grille on a pre war Daimler drophead at a classic car show in the past few years. Have old pic.

Daimlers have that unique fluted header tank on their radiators.

Thanks, I had discounted Daimler due to the Rad, Was thinking of a Lanchester rad v similar but not quite right , But BSA Scout hits the Bull. Funnily enough BSA was almagamated into the Daimler/Lanchest combine in the early 30's
