Well, have done the deed today
Put order in for a new Tuscan 2. Gone for Iced Tatanium with silver wheels, with black full hide with nimbus inserts on seats and doors.
Anyone here got any pictures they can post, of a Tuscan in iced titanium?

Spent all morning speccing it up, and now gradually comming down to earth again. There is nothing quite like the feeling of placing an order for a new TVR, and will certainly be having a few tonight.
Delivery for early April, so lets hope for a good summer ahead.

Will be very nice.

Was in Harrogate Horseless Carriages today, and they had one in that colour, albeit with black/red interior.

Must admit, it is an impovement over the original.

Nigel

I've ordered mine in Iced Titanium too. I've gone for a black / mulberry interior but basically the same.

Have a look at the profile of davetherave1970, he's got some great pics of his Cerbie in Iced T.

Good choice of colour in my opinion. Not very good pictures I'm afraid... taken with a very cheap digital camera. Should give you some idea though...

Hi, firstly, congratulations on placing your order got a Tuscan 2. I am giving serious consideration to one too. I've not purchased a new TVR before and wondered (possibly niavely), whether there is any point looking to negotiate on the price. Does anyone know if dealers are prepared to cut a deal?

Many thanks for all advice.

Jeneam.

jeneam, yes there is every chance in getting a deal. There are a good number of stock cars usually available, and if you are flexible on the colour/interior, then you can land a cracking deal.
I do feel though that if you are spending that amount of money, then it is nice to have exactly what you want and not have to settle with someone elses choice. Plus the fact, it is a fantastic feeling speccing your own car, even down to the point of choosing what colour stitching you want. You literally start with a clean sheet of paper, and design your own spec.
You probably won't get quite as good a deal on a new build, but there is still room for movement from the dealer, so push hard! Even if its not a reduction on price, you may negotiate a deal on some extras/ free servicing etc.
It will rive you mad deciding what colour you want, you will be looking at every car on the road from now on
