Trapped nerve - Back
Discussion
Did something to my back at the weekend, slight pain ignored it as you do and carried on training, gym etc.
Pain has since got worse and I'm now on some painkillers, went to see my physio this morning who's done some manipulation and confirmed it's a trapped nerve at the base of my spin, although the pain is on my r/h side kidney area I guess.
Got another session on Monday, told to stop any exercise but what can I do to try and speed this up? I'm away in 2 weeks rattling around Jerez on the bike and at the present moment I can't imagine even getting on a bike.
Any ideas?

Hi, I get this from time to time, mines been a lot better since I started going to the Gym over a year ago but I had a bad episode recently when I twisted when kneeling down & the pain was excruciating ! I went to my Physio guy & he manipulated my back which improved it a lot, he also gave me some stretching exercises to do which, with the help of pain killers & anti-inflammatory's eventually took it away. It took about a week though. I found that I was better when moving around, even though it was painful, first thing in the morning, trying to get out of bed was the worst or if I sat for too long - agony !
Hope it improves for you soon.
