Can any of you Boxster owners comment on whether or not the Bose upgrade is worth getting? I'm looking ta buying an S in a couple of months and were wondering what the consensus is............. cheers

I've got it on mine and am very pleased with it.
Not sure how good the 'non-bose' is though in fairness but the general consensus is that re-sale values are better and bose/wind deflector cars are more sought after.
I would pay the extra if I were you.
Good luck!

Thanks for this.......... how's the bass? Going to Le Mans in the summer [] and am putting together some good CDS to listen to some music on the way through France. Had an Elise before with a Pioneer tube subwoofer; very good.......

Bass is very very very very very very very very very very good!

Where there is usually a cubby hole on a Boxster, you have a BASS BIN!! Right behind your left ear if you're driving.

Bose is a must.

James.

I've been checking a few Boxster over the last few weeks, some with BOSE some without.

Although the standard setup is pretty good (much better then my current Beemer), the difference with the BOSE setup is noticeable with some great bass coming from between the seats... I'd go for it if you like your tunes
