Morning, folks...

Having been a tabletop gamer throughout my youth, I dropped out for a while, but am now looking to get back into the habit...

Have any of you tried 'Beyond the Gates of Antares' from Warlord Games and Dark Space Corp?

There are a few sets out at the moment - the models look promising... anyone have any insight, more information, or experience with both the models, and the rules system?

Didn't you ask this question a few months ago? Or very similar. Probably worth looking at the replies to that.

You also asked that question here:

And 5 other websites (and that's just the first page of Google.)

Coincidentally as you live in Notts why don't you pop into the office and asks your colleagues at warlord games what they think of the games??

So Rich Dando.....

Amazing what a quick Google does. I'm sure it's a copy and paste job from the company trying to drum up sales/ get feedback on their product. The thing is it looks quite a good product.

Its a game devised by Rick Priestley, who was one of the early game designers and innovators at Games Workshop.

There was a kickstarter type project for it a couple of years ago, but it didn't reach its goals, and Warlord Games have been drumming up interest for the last couple of years.

I'm sure if Rick Priestley is behind it the game will be very playable, but its a big ask for any game to take on the dominance of Warhammer 40K (despite everything that GW do to try and cheese of their customers!!!)
