I go fishing almost daily, but enjoy watching the wildlife when waiting for a fish daft enough to take my bait
particularly interested in birds

Canon do some Image Stabilsing ones.
The difference when you press the button and engage the stabilising device is AMAZING!
I cannot recommend them enough.

Simply marvellous. You pay the (high) cost once. But then get years of rock steady magnification...

This is what I was going to recommend (depending on budget!) I have a pair of 12x36II IS bins and they're brilliant. The IS makes a huge difference.The difference when you press the button and engage the stabilising device is AMAZING!
