Im very excited, at the 'possibility' of cerbera ownership less than a week away (it might not work out just yet, will have to wait and see www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=149354&f=6&h=0 ) but also deeply gutted to be selling the S, and to be leaving the fold

A cerb would still be welcome at the summer S meet and next years raffle, right?

Have you sold the S then , ideal world I'd have a V8S and a Cerb, still toying with the idea myself of chopping the S though .
Only thing I would say on the cerb front is make sure, apart for the obvious condition/history bits, is that it has AC .

Bob I see you are getting one from Dream Machines.... Not the yellow V8 is it???

Must admit myself when I chopped in the S3 for the Griffith it was hard. I really like the S series and would have one again in a shot if funds would allow.
Nice Retro looks, goes like stink compared to most cars of its era and pretty easy to work on.

Hoover is right, it's the yellow one There are two there now, and its the V8

I wish, like Mrs Blue Cerbera I could have a V8S and a cerbera.

Dream Machines know what I need from them in order to PX the S to purchase the Cerb, we are just working out figures. It'll be beans on toast forever after this, methinks. Harry, the car has AC but the cerb owners say it doesnt make much difference in summer. It must get hot, going by the number of posts re: aircon needed.

The popping and banging is just and the ride is firm, feels good, although I will miss the seat of the pants S ride for sure.

Im booked into Austec re: my ECU this wednesday/thursday, to have the popping and banging map taken off my S, and IF we can work out figures, might have the car by friday.
