Cayenne turbo advice

Im looking at buying a 2005 Cayenne. The seller says it's a Cayenne Turbo S but the images he has sent me of the engine bay show the engine cover with the text '4.5 V8'. It doesn't say turbo anywhere on the engine cover.

Am I correct in assuming it's a non-turbo V8?

Do you have the registration number? There are several sites where you can check what the car is from the reg. Eg. Askmid

Ask for the VIN number to be photographed and send to you. Put it through a Porsche VIN decoder and you will get all the info you require.

Check out the cost of brakes for turbo and S before deciding. The Turbo uses standard 4.5S brakes, the S uses a bespoke disk and pad that cost a fortune. It wasn't just a bit more it was ridiculously more when I looked at this recently and it' going to get through them fast enough
