Got a 16oz chateau briand to use up tonight. Doing a wild mushroom risotto as a starter. Bored of just doing chips and a sauce. And really cannot be ars*d to think too much so over to you guys.

Whats your favourite with a bit of steak?

Peppercorn is my staple steak sauce. Occasionally I'll include mushrooms.

Pretty boring but a side of Mediterranean veg would be my choice.

Creamed cabbage & bacon or spinach for me, with good french fries.

My go to steak side is rocket and parmesan salad. The lightness of the salad is a great contrast to the usual heaviness of steak.

Just a blob of Dijon mustard, with a small leafy salad to mop up the juices.

Creamed spinach is an excellent side.

You could go all out and go Oscar style - delicious but time consuming.

Boulangere potatoes and asparagus.

Also, never ruin a good steak with a sauce!

A1 source was such a disappointment. Thought it was some amazing source and when I eventually tried it on holiday its simply brown source.

Onion rings with a steak or a onion source or onion jam, tbh anything onion and steak is good.

I like a nice strong horseradish (preferably not creamed)
And a wholegrain mustard.

Green veg and a bottle of red all to myself
