Mercedes locking wheel nuts too tight
Discussion
I have a 2002 Mercedes SL but that does not apply to this problem. My car is fitted with Mercedes locking wheel nuts which are apparently a lot tougher and harder than others (Titanium). Some idiot put them on with an air gun and as a result my local MB dealer broke two locking wheel nut removers on my MB. They have now informed me that I have to travel to South London (I live in Herts/Essex/North London) in order to have them 'cut' off to the tune of £100-200!!!!
There must be an alternative solution closer to home and cheaper. Help please. I cannot be the only one to have this problem.
