Hi all. Engine re-build is progress so attention is turning to peripheryslaugh Can anyone identify the coolant hoses I'm going to need? The car is 1984, with a 2.8i Cologne engine, the radiator is mounted in the engine bay not the in the nose. Am I right in assumimg that the engine hoses are standard Capri? The bottom engine to radiator hose Granda? The top hose??confused Any assistance would be most helpful and appreciated. Thankyou. John C

John I was about to post a very similar question. Thanks Zig, where's the best place to get the lot from? CapriClub.co.uk?

John, if you have success, can you post where you got them from please inc approx. costs? Cheers.

Hi Toby...As said per other thread..(Fuel tank removal)..ML performance stock a complete set for the Tasmin 280i although i can't see the rad hoses in there..I will call him this morning to ask..I need to speak to him anyway...

£196 + Vat...eek
http://www.mlperformanceparts.co.uk/product/silico...

As a more economic solution just buy the formed Capri hoses ..(Top water inlet housing & AAD) and the rest can be made from straight lengths of silicone..Good practice is to use the old ones as reference..You can in fact replace all the hoses bar the bottom rad hose with hose and joiners where necessary ..

Bottom hose is available on Fleabay..

No worries John, Just glad i can help...Toby as John say's..If you do call Tickover then try to get to speak to Clive..You can say TVR Mark recommended you..He will probably say..."Oh no" but it will be in jest smile...Im sure they will have no problem posting stuff out to Oz..They are really good for info as well but if its loads then an email would be better...

Thanks guys, valuable info. I will be doing some homework with a calculator to see what works. At least you can still get just about everything for these cars!

Here are the rad hoses that came off. They look just like the pic in the Wedgepages but not like the Granada MK2 hose? #confused...

Thanks all for the replies. I still have the originals and a Granada bottom hose and a second hand top hose. Similar to the originals if they were the right ones to start withlaugh Time will tell on reassembly. Cheers John C.
