Hi

I would like to set up a driving / racing seat arrangement at home. what would your recommendations be please for a reasonably priced racing seat / wheels etc and screen.
balance between budget and quality. or simply tell me what you've got and Ill copy it.

the seat would need to have a slider so that the kids can also use it.

it would be for a PS3, but we may upgrade at somepoint.

thank you

For the wheel / pedals, I bought a Logitech G27 several years ago. It's very good although I must admit I've probably only used it about half a dozen times.

Remember then PS4 can only take Thrustmaster now!

Lots of G25/27 owners upset that the new shiny console is locked to thier pricey steering wheels

Thrustmaster is your only choice if you go PS4.
For PS3, as above or G27

I'm a little underwhelmed with my T300 at the moment I sure it's just I've not set it up right. Doesn't feel miles better than the G25 it replaces but I'll see when I start racing again. The pedals on the T300 are not great but will probably do you to start. I'm sticking with modified G25 pedals (as I play on PC mostly).

I don't use a seat but I have the wheel and pedals mounted on a wheel stand pro which works really well in front of the TV or at my desk and it folds up so it doesn't frighten the wife.

Interesting, I didn't know that about PS4 compatibility. Given that my PS3 died - and I rarely used the steering wheel and pedals anyway - I guess it's time to get rid of it!

Exactly the above for me. IMO, if you aren't dead set on having a full seat set up then a wheelstand pro is the way to go.

I've got my G27 on one and soon I may have a t300rs on it instead. Not sure on the t300rs yet though.

RSeat RS1 with a T500rs. Not cheap, but does the job nicely and looks good.

Seat has loads of adjustability, but the wheel may be a bit high for a kid. That is adjustable, but not really for height.

Wasted on Gran Turismo 6, I should really build a PC.

I forget which model monitor I have, but it's a 27" Asus. Seemed to get good reviews and will run 144fps on a decent PC. Picture is decent on GT6, no real motion blur and minute input lag.

There's probably newer monitors about now that will be better, but I'd recommend at least a 27". I sometimes wish I'd gone a bit bigger.

Is the G27 the official GT6 wheel?

I have a playseat challenge and a thrustmaster t300rs for both ps3 and ps4, very very very happy with it. That's my recommendation.
