Nobody talking about the HWM GT2?

Spoke to Tony at HWM last night - he tells me (and for any one that knows Tony take this lightly) that it sold immediately for £90k !!!!
Says he has another one owner example coming in that will go up for the same price
I remember looking at a one owner 25k miles car at Clinkard last year for £44k!

A one owner GT2 at 13 years old seems pretty rare....maybe thats a factor? 55k isnt too high either. It looks a nice example and with so few coming to market the pricing is very hard to judge. The last one i know of that sold was M33 ufo's 2004 model at £75k.
Maybe 2015 is the year the 996 GT2 catches the rest of the market.

A 52 plate just sold at silverstone auction for £86625
Do you have the link?Must admit having just spent the weekend ripping about the west country in mine, it's hard to imagine a better car. Although to be fair I've not driven anything better. It's the relentless grip and storming engine hauling it kicking and screaming out of corners that impresses me, just feels sometimes like the engine's trying to climb out the back.
Bittersweet if the supposed value of it makes it harder to justify driving it one day. I suppose that'll be the day to hand it on to a collector who can retire it and go spend the money on something else. But for now clear dry roads and sunshine have certainly given me something to smile about this week

Cheers... So nothing particularly special about it, thought it might have been a CS.
I suppose finally the penny has dropped then on these amazing cars. If mine reaches close to 458 money I'm going to struggle to resist that I think. But meantime I guess a few more weekends like the last one, doing what it's meant to do...
