Kia Forum?

Afternoon all,

After much deliberation, I've just bought my first Kia (Pro Cee'd Sport) and finding UK based information on it was a bit of a nightmare.

They are fast becoming a popular alternative to the Astra/Focus/Mondeo/insignia and wondered if there was the appetite for a forum in the 'other marques' bit of the website?

If it's something we get enough requests for then we'd certainly consider it but at the moment I'm not sure there would be the traffic to warrant a specific forum

Joking aside, the missus has just bought a Kia and I was a little surprised there wasn't a Kia sub-forum here....

I was about to ask the same thing really. Korea tends to get lumped into JapChat which isn't totally accurate and I suspect misses some people.

When I see the Jap chat forum I immediately think of high performance cars like Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan etc so not really where people will go to look for information on a Korean car manufacturer.

I think you would be pleasantly surprised by how much traffic a Kia specific forum would generate. I see more and more on the roads everyday, in fact my work (which runs thousands of cars through Lex Leasing) has just had all of our crappy Astra's replaced with Kia Cee'd sports wagons and in my humble opinion its a far superior car in every way.

Also is it maybe the case that some won't/don't know how to reqest a forum change? I wasn't entirely sure when I posted in here that it was the right place.
