I have a video tape somewhere of that very car following me around Cadwell, it was the opening lap of a session so asked Russ to follow me so we could film him.
On the second lap however I lost it coming out of 'Charlies' went spinning backwards off the circuit as Russ sailed on by and opened it up!
I do believe Mr Davidy was on the banking at the time and saw it live.

Banned for noise one year at Zolder, Belgium, Russ proceed to tear it up back to the hotel in Holland, passing 150mph through the border control!!! A minor visit from the Dutch police followed later at the hotel, who gave him a ticking off as apparently the Belgian Police couldn't catch him!!!!
Whether is all true or not, it doesn't matter, its a good story....

Went to a TVRCC track day at Cadwell as a passenger in the car with Russ in 1999 i think, set lots of car alarms off coming through Coventry at a very early time of the morning, 150 + all the way down the M69!!!, when we got to cadwell did about 5 laps as passenger and felt very ill, eventful trip home with rain at times, quite a day and a trip i wont forget, happy days.
