Are you thinking about any other motors or are going to give it a miss

I'll be selling my cerbera within the next week or so and I'm really struggling with a price as the values are all over the place...seems like you must have had yours right on the money if it sold so quickly?

Surprised. I had you down as a keeper, Spongy.

You must've spent more time working on it than driving it frown
(I mean improving it, not mending it)

Lol, thought I would keep her forever, and to be honest not sure why I sold it.a kind of sensible moment came over me ......its really bad seeing it go down the road makes you realise how special these cars are.hope the new owner uses it as I should have done.my other option was to leave her in storage 30 miles from new house, which in my head meant even less use.Oh well never say never am sure I will be back in one in the future. ...but it will never match my first one

Ps
regarding price I could have sold her twenty times.....which for me says it may have been too cheap....but it sold
with no hassle, which in my book is good news.

Wow. Sorry to hear that you needed to let her go.

I've sometimes wondered whether to "be sensible" and sell the Cerb, particularly after extended periods where I've just not used it (usual stuff, work, family, weather, lack of time etc), or when there has been a big bill or due a big bill, and also that the kids are starting to get a bit big for the rear seats.......

But so far, it's just taken a spirited drive out, or a conversation with another petrolhead who then gets to find out I own a Cerbera, or the lack of real alternatives at anywhere near the price (four seater raw sportscar with timeless gorgeous looks, analogue driving experience, that sound....).

Spongy - look at this another way. You have had a chance to own and "fettle" one, and have truely immersed yourself in the Cerb ownership experience (and done far more work on the car than I owuld ever have the time or ability to do...), now is the chance to move on, even if temporarily. Treat youself to something else that you've always wanted that is more suited to your current circumstances (e.g. more pliant suspension, doesn't mind being left outside without a garage) and run that for a while......

.... and start planning to build a garage at your new place, and looking round for your next TVR!!!!
