Will the 911 turbo now devalue in the future?

With the arrival of all 911 being TURBO this year will this impact the current turbo values in the future and demand increase more so for NA cars?

I can't see 911 turbo's going down.

As with all cars the right specification will always guarantee a higher value.

Manual coupes should do well as newer cars tend to be autos.

Will all 911s now be called "911 ... Turbo": e.g. "911 Carrera 4 GTS Turbo"?

In any case, the older gen (and existing) 911 turbos will still stand out as the iconic 911 or "top of the range" for most potential purchasers.

It will have no impact on the current and previous 911 Turbos. Most of those are going up.

However, it could increase demand for the NA cars. I guess it will depend on how the new small turbo cars drive?

Nah, they'll stay as-is in the same way the Macan S is still a turbo, but it's not a Macan Turbo.

Interesting question though, as if the new turbo lumps give a large performance increase via a huge slug of torque then maybe sales of the full fat Turbo might be hit? Certainly a 991.2 S with a remap might be quite the weapon for significantly less cash, and if you can still get it with a manual 'box...

Most of the early turbo's are on the up according to the ads, the new ones will have micky mouse blowers installed, in aid of emissions and all that Green ballox motor manufacturers have to abide by these days.

Yep, the turbos are not for power per se, the idea is that a smaller engine can be used and the turbo makes up the lost power. It is likely that the turbo will be small and will be tuned in such a way as to be imperceptable.

Lets the hope the throttle response isnt dulled or compromised too much, electric or not!
