........... if it was an aircraft engine that would be " Condition 3" which means remove before next flight !

However , as its a car I would drain , flush and check everyday for a while , as long as there are no "noises" associated with it .

Nope no noise at all and If I had read Dickymint epistle before posting would have seen that it is fairly normal

Still can't gind the second drain plug containing filter!

Yes it is apalling!

The rear of the plug is out of focus and the background is unsuitable.

Next time try better lighting and rearrange the sprigs of metal into a more pleasing shape!

So that is where the 7/16th-1/2 inch spanner got to.

That's not much for a gearbox .. I've seen much worse.

Make sure the box oil is changed regularly..

Box or engine? I have this mag plug in the engine. Seen worse. Suggest replace oil and check in a few days as said earlier. If okay than be thankful and then use Mobil 1 every 3k miles.

It's from the Gearbox: was changing to SMX-S

The stuff was actually just a paste (no solid bits)

Thats not bad at all for a gearbox. If you want to see serious swarf on a plug try an old and hard used Mini one!!
