Anyone have a Samsung UE55H62400?
Discussion
I appreciate that this is quite a specific enquiry and I have done some research via Google to inform my decision; however I would appreciate any opinions on this model of TV before I buy one.
I have seen it for £749 with 5 year warranty from Richer Sounds, which seems to be pretty cheap compared to others.
So any opinions would be very welcome and I do appreciate that this thread my disappear into the ether due to how specific it is :-)
It makes a change from random and vague "what cars" though :-)
Thanks in advance.

going out on a limb, I reckon he means the UE55H6400.
I've got the 40 inch version of that model, and I have to say that i'm eminently pleased with it. the software works a treat for a smart tv, and the picture is lovely on the eyes (you need to calibrate it properly as it's set up terribly from new, but it only takes half hour or so depending on how many different inputs you're setting it up for).
audio wise, its pretty decent for a slim telly, but it also has an optical out so worth connecting to an external audio setup if you want more bass, but tbh i just use the telly speakers for eastenders/wheeler dealers etc.
For a quick tip though... off-hand i cant remember if john lewis stock that size of the 6400 range, but if they do then try and go with them as they chuck in a free 5 year no-quibbles warranty (i've used the john lewis warranty before and they are good to their word even just a few months from the 5 year point), and also will price match any other shop if you ask a member of staff ;-)

I bought a 48" 6400 for our place in Spain last month - It was only £430 with the weak Euro, and for that price it was a steal.
The picture is decent enough, but my brother-in-law has a 8000 series, and the picture on that is on another level altogether. Sound is surprisingly decent. The on-line stuff is very good - intuitive and easy to use (though you really need a keyborad to use the internet).
The only criticism I have of the 6400 is there's some slight but noticeable 'graining' or 'shimmering' on some scenes. The in-focus stuff in the foreground is pin sharp and solid, but on some scenes the background sort of shimmers slightly. This comment only applies to Blueray DVD's (6500 Samsung Blueray player) as we don't have regular TV yet and it might be possible to adjust it out with the very comprehensive settings.

Thanks guys and yes I did put an additional 2 in the title :-)
I looked at the 6200 initially and then discovered that the 6400 was a bit better and only £50 more so must have had the numbers on the brain.
That is at the top end of what I want to spend as I have saved that up.
Thansk for the advice it is much appreciated.
